Do I need to be a business to use PostBack?

Yes. You need to be affiliated with a business and have interactions with customers. This may include work as a contractor, freelancers, business owner, employee, babysitters, etc.

Is my customer review anonymous?

YES! Your business reviews of customers on PostBack are ALWAYS anonymous. Your name and contact information never display. We don’t allow any form of blogging so you are good to go!

Is there a PostBack app to rate customers?

We’re so glad you asked! Our team is currently developing a PostBack app that will be available on the Apple and Google Play stores coming in 2026. Stay tuned!

Why can’t I write about what happened with the customer I’m reviewing.

Here at PostBack we want your business to be able to rate and review customers without getting into legal trouble. Open text fields can easily slide into trouble zones. Do I have to provide my business name?

No. We don’t allow blogging and your account username is just to get you access to use PostBack.com. We welcome medical providers, freelancers, contractors, etc. Remember, it is okay for a business to stand up to internet criticism and bad customer behavior..

What if I have multiple businesses?

No problem. You can rate and review customers from multiple businesses from your one PostBack account. Your name and business name never appear on your reviews.

What about HIPAA?

We’ve provided pre-filled options for your businesses to describe your clients. Additionally, your business information does not show on the review. As a result, you would not be giving up vital HIPAA information.

We’ve created PostBack’s client rating system to protect businesses. PostBack does not take responsibility for any HIPAA violations. We do not want to violate anyone’s rights here at PostBack. Please confirm with your legal team what is appropriate for your business.

How can my business rate and review customers with PostBack?

To rate and review customers on PostBack, you’ll create a customer review called a “postie.” Just like other review sites, you’ll give your customer a star rating from 1-5 stars. Use our icons and pre-formatted options to give other businesses insights into how your customer behaved. Finally, you’ll provide information about your industry and location to help businesses just like yours.
